Frankfurt Dresden Dance Company - Jacopo Godani

The long-awaited first collaboration between the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company and The Frankfurt Radio Symphony is finally brought to the stage in November 2021.

In When the Dust settles, the intention of Jacopo Godani, Artistic Director, is not to visualize music with movement, but to consider music and dance as equal and at the same time interdependent entities and to choreographically present the entire spectrum of this relationship with its infinite connections.

Musical reference points are provided by compositions by Giacinto Scelsi, Ferruccio Busoni, Arvo Pärt, John Tavener, Steve Reich, Johannes S. Sistermanns and Wolfgang Liebhart, which will be realized by the Frankfurt Radio Symphony under the direction of Lucas Vis in the stimulating setting of the Bockenheimer Depot.
