With THE SMALL INFINITE, HIGH BREED, ECHOES FROM A RESTLESS SOUL and UNIT IN REACTION, the company’s repertoire includes an exemplary selection of works by Jacopo Godani with their innovative, pulsating, gestural language in which virtuosity and expressiveness play equally important roles. This is a considerable challenge for the dancers, one that takes them time and again to physical and physiological limits.

Anthologie illustrates Godani’s role in further developing contemporary ballet. His choreographic style is defined by his use of pointe technique and his experimental approach. This production marks the debut of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company on the main stage of the Schauspiel Frankfurt.

In view of the current development and new corona restrictions, the program of Anthologie had to be changed. Originally, the performance should have included the pieces HOLLOW BONES (world premiere), ECHOES FROM A RESTELSS SOUL, AL DI LÀ and HIGH BREED.
