Allison McGuire was born in Chicago, USA. She began her professional career at Visceral Dance Chicago as a 2017 apprentice. During this time, she was awarded Modern Dance Finalist at YoungArts. She studied dance at The Juilliard School, there she performed works by José Limón, Alejandro Cerrudo, Jacopo Godani and new creations by Bryan Arias, Nelly van Bommel, Andrea Miller, and Matthew Neenan. After her graduation, Allison was commissioned to work for ISHIDA Dance Company based in Austin, Texas. In 2021 she was engaged as a dancer with Ballet of Difference at Schauspiel Köln. Allison joined the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company in February 2022.
