Sarah Bucher

When I dance, I feel free to express what I cannot put into words.

Sarah Bucher studied contemporary dance at The Manufacture in Lausanne. Since 2016, she has danced in works by Yasmine Hugonnet, Mélanie Gobet and David Zambrano, among others. A key moment for her was realizing how she could combine everything she had learned and use it to create her own interpretation. As a choreographer, she created the piece “Camille”, which was performed in Lausanne, Brussels and other locations in 2021/22. Together with Victor Poltier, she choreographed “Les Bourgeoises”, “Sugar”, “Nocturnes” and, most recently, “Meilleurs Vœux!” In addition to dance, she is passionate about SaoLim and singing.
